On August 1st 2021, René Kautz joined the aream Group as Head of Project Finance. He is responsible for project finance and sales as well as key account management in the company, which specializes in renewable energies.

As the previous Senior Vice President of the Renewable Energy Team at Hamburg Commercial Bank AG (formerly HSH Nordbank AG), René Kautz is familiar with the requirements of infrastructure transactions and financings, having advised on an investment volume of almost two billion euros, spread over well over 20 transactions throughout the Eurozone. "For me, the move to aream is a logical progression in the field of renewable energy infrastructure - and especially now, when the momentum is increasing dramatically and we can realize new investment opportunities on the asset and investor side," says Kautz. "Together with the aream team, I look forward to actively shaping this development with my experience and expertise." 

René Kautz holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA), Sustainability Management and is a Diplom-Kaufmann (FH) and Certified Professional Renewable Energy Finance from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.
