Thomas Schied took over the newly created position of Director Key Account Management in the Industry and Energy Markets division in the aream Group on March 1. Schied has more than 20 years of experience in the energy and infrastructure industry in multinational companies. Most recently, he worked as a consultant advising companies and organizations on the development and implementation of new business models on the topics of energy transition, urban solutions, business innovation, climate protection & sustainability, and digital transformation. Prior to that, Schied was Business Unit Manager and responsible for New Business Development at Westenergie AG, part of the Eon Group. Here, Schied established the Urban Solution division and was responsible for the development of sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions and business models, as well as positioning the company as an internationally active solution provider.

"For all industrial companies in Europe, the importance of a truly green energy supply with long-term price stability is increasing. Investing in their own renewable electricity production is an obvious choice", says Voigt. In order to implement projects in this area in a targeted manner, project developers and asset managers such as aream are increasingly being consulted.
