Solar parks are an important part of the energy transition. When providing land, more and more municipalities are demanding commitments to ecological upgrading of the land. "This is where the interests of operators and municipalities fit together perfectly", says Markus W. Voigt, CEO of aream Group. "Because impact investors often look for the ecological added value in addition to the contribution to CO2-avoidance."
More and more companies with high electricity demands are looking for a sustainable energy supply. Many have already signed direct supply contracts for green power. "The next stage is an in-house production", says Markus W. Voigt, CEO of the aream Group.
So far this year, the weather has been on the side of climate protection: plenty of sun and wind are ensuring abundant production of renewable energies, and last March even marked a sunshine record. The long-term outlook for the industry is also dazzling. "Politicians are pushing hard to expand renewables - not only for climate protection, but also to promote energy sovereignty", explains Markus W. Voigt, CEO of the aream Group.
First strong winds, now permanent sunshine: Measured in terms of energy yield, the weather in 2022 has so far shown its best side. "After just three weeks of March, the solar energy yield is almost ten percent above plan", says Markus W. Voigt, CEO of the aream Group. "And it's looking strong for wind as well."
