AREAM GmbH has purchased the Lauda-Heckfeld wind farm in Baden-Württemberg for its Clean Energy Future Fund. The wind farm, planned and constructed by juwi AG, consists of two Vestas V 126 wind turbines with a total rated output of 6.9 MW. The plant will produce clean green electricity for more than 5,000 households. The technical management was awarded to juwi Operations & Maintenance GmbH on a long-term basis.

The Lauda-Heckfeld wind farm, which is located next to the village of Heckfeld in the Main-Tauber district of Baden-Württemberg, will be integrated into the Clean Energy Future Fund managed by AREAM. The fund has a successful distribution history and thus further diversifies its holdings.
AREAM Managing Director Markus W. Voigt: "We are pleased to be able to realise another transaction with juwi AG, which has been successfully active in the renewable energy market for a long time, just like us, through the acquisition of the Lauda-Heckfeld wind farm. After the last joint transaction of the Perl wind farm in Germany in 2018, we can now rely on proven concepts, which will have an additional positive effect for our investors".

juwi AG has planned and developed the Lauda-Heckfeld wind farm, obtained approval in accordance with the German Federal Emmission Control Act (BImSchG) and was awarded the contract in the tendering process in accordance with the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG) 2017. The plants were fully commissioned at the end of January 2020. As part of the planned cooperation, juwi will continue to provide technical management for the wind farm.

"We are pleased to be able to arrange another transaction with AREAM GmbH," says Frederik Faißt, Head of Project Financing at juwi AG. "This is all the more true as we see a further expansion of the market in the future, which will be actively supported both by AREAM GmbH and us at juwi AG. The reliability of partners is also becoming increasingly important in view of the ever-increasing complexity of regulation in the field of renewable energies. "With AREAM we have a very experienced partner in this area," says Faißt.
